Panayiotis was born in Limassol, Cyprus, and is the Founder and Managing Partner of Tsangaris Legal. Graduating in 1979 from the Law Faculty of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, he went on to earn a Diploma in Shipping Law from University College London in 1981. He was called to the Cyprus Bar Association in 1983, and practised with leading Cyprus law firms until 1985, when he established his own firm. Panayiotis is a widely experienced and dedicated lawyer with an extensive knowledge of complex legal matters. For more than 35 years he has successfully represented a plethora of corporate and individual clients in the Cyprus Courts and has acted as an Expert Witness and Legal Consultant for public entities, banks, private companies and other legal entities and individuals. His highly persuasive and in-depth legal knowledge have earned him the respect of both judges and clients.

Away from the office, Panayiotis has been Chairman of various organizations and associations, including the Cyprus Reservists Commandos League and the Cyprus Autism Association, and has served at various times as a Committee Member for the Cyprus Ministry of Health. He is also one of the founders of the APEP Football Club, acting as Secretary for many years.
